Re-Street Joins International Women's Day in Nijmegen
On 8 March, we'll be joining the International Women's Day celebration in Nijmegen with an interactive workshop exploring how women experience public space and how drawing can help reimagine more inclusive cities.
We're excited to share that Re-Street will be part of this year's International Women's Day celebration in Nijmegen, taking place on 8 March at De Lindenberg.
The event brings together organisations, artists, initiatives, and community members for an afternoon dedicated to connection, creativity, and conversations about equality. We're grateful to be part of a programme that celebrates so many different voices and perspectives.
During the event, we'll facilitate an interactive drawing workshop where participants are invited to reflect on a simple question:
What would a city look like if it were designed with women's everyday experiences in mind?
Through drawing and conversation, we'll explore themes such as safety, accessibility, comfort, mobility, and belonging. No artistic experience is needed. Just curiosity and a willingness to imagine together.
We're looking forward to meeting new people, hearing different perspectives, and contributing to an afternoon that encourages dialogue, creativity, and collective imagination.
If you're in Nijmegen on 8 March, we'd love to see you there.
